To begin with, I would first like to share my experience, starting with Aptitude Test in which only 89 people out of 550 were shortlisted for interviews out of which only 11 people were selected. It was a tough process as well as a tough call for many of the students. They were in a big dilemma.
The aptitude test was of an hour carrying 40 questions covering Logical Reasoning, Analytical Skills, Comprhension skills and Quantitative Aptitude. The level was moderate.
Here again, the game was about devising strategies, to maximise the chances of right answers in a very short span of time. I completed the test in 45 mins at one shot by selecting the questions which I was comfortable with and kept 15 mins buffer time to attempt remaining questions and they were taking calculated risks.
In the second round Deloitte, gave us a sheet of papaer and we were to attempt two questions. T idea was very clear. They were checking written communication skills and ability to write meaningful sentences in precise words.
After clearing the two rounds of tests, we had two rounds of Interview in store for us. The first round was sort of rapid fire in which the HR Lady was ensuring that the person should not switchover. The questions were very direct such as :-
- Why Knowledge Management?
- Relate your specializations with it.
- Are you comfortable in relocating yourself?
- Do you have any questions to us?
This was more basic. The questions were:-
- Introduce Yourself
- Tell us about your family
- Technical proficiency
- Computer skills
- SIP Project
- Why Knowledge Management?
- Difference between Excel and SPSS?
- Do you have any questions to us?
Here, I drove my interview towards my strength area like SIP Project and it turned to be positive.
